Entwined Hearts

The symbol of a stylized heart is very familiar to most people, as a way to tell to someone that I love you, or that they you are loved! Couples, or lovers often exchanged heart shaped gifts to show their affection for one another; especially on special occasions. Hearts being a universal symbol of love.

These two entwined straw hearts, have been created using the wonderful Arrow Plait. This unique image also symbolises love, but also of togetherness. It can also represent be a symbol of conjugal love, if the couple are married. When two hearts are combined, this can also mean that they are reflecting the two partners in this loving union. A love that is never ending, depicting two people forever in union.
