About Melanie Lorien Melanie has worked with the earth for most of her life and found Paganism in the early 70's. She now follows an Ovate Druidic path. She has worked in horticulture, attended Hadlow Agricultural College in Kent, and she later studied Ecology and Conservation at London University; where she went on to work as a Woodland Conservation Ranger in Kent for many years. Melanie was one of the founder members of 'The Dragon Environmental Network'), where she first met her husband Wolf successfully campaigning to save Oxleas Wood in Greenwich, back in the late 1980's. Melanie is also a professional Heritage Straw Worker, and the Irish Representative for 'The Guild of Straw Craftsmen'. As well as a keen Earth Energy Dowser; who volunteers as part of the Earth Energy Zoom Team and 'The International House Healers Network'
